Description

The intern will be part of the Toxicology team, primarily responsible for ensuring the welfare of animals and the integrity of pre-clinical studies. This role involves maintaining clean animal living environments, assisting technicians with daily tasks, handling animals, and participating in their physical and social activities.

What We're Looking For

Ensure the cleanliness of the animals' living environment according to high welfare standards.,Assist technicians in their daily tasks.,Handle animals.,Participate in the physical/social activities of the animals.

Ideal Candidate

Be a student in Animal Health Technology, Wildlife Management technology, or Biotechnology.,Able to follow precise instructions.,Able to work physically (lift up to 20 kg, walk, stand, stoop, etc.).,Understanding of written English.,Passionate about animals.

Minimum Education

Student (Animal Health Technology, Wildlife Management technology, or Biotechnology program)

Work Hours

37.5 hours/week (during summer), possibility to stay after school (to be discussed), potential for overtime.
