The Store Supervisor manages daily team operations to ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and achieve operational, customer, and sales goals. This role involves leadership, coaching, and potentially managing the store in the absence of other managers, covering teller, platform, and customer escalations. They focus on acquiring, retaining, and deepening customer relationships through sales and advice activities.
Supervise day-to-day team activities to ensure operational excellence and compliance.
Provide day-to-day team leadership and work direction for service and advice activities.
Monitor teller team and platform workflows, prioritizing and delegating tasks.
Demonstrate understanding of bank operational policies, procedures, and regulations.
Drive operational excellence in cash handling, vault management, negotiable items, fraud prevention, and expense management.
Engage with customers about loan products and facilitate application intake (requires active NMLS registration).
Lead, develop, and coach the team on customer service, product, and advice conversations.
Proficient in customer relationship tools, services, products, and campaigns.
Knowledge and understanding of financial literacy and a broad range of products/services.
Acquire and deepen the customer base through proactive sales and service activities utilizing leads.
Connect with customers/prospects, provide financial advice, and deepen relationships through lead management.
Lead and coach frontline colleagues on effective customer complaint resolution.
Responsible for vault management, including auditing, reporting, and balancing.
Manage store currency levels and track shipments/deliveries.
Approve financial transactions using sound judgment to minimize risk.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and AMCB policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Must be eligible for employment with a covered financial institution under Regulation Z.
Must be eligible for registration as a registered mortgage loan originator with the NMLS.
Satisfactory criminal background check and credit report check results.
HS Diploma or GED required; undergraduate degree preferred.
2+ years related experience working with customers and/or sales.
Notary License (preferred).
Previous supervisory or demonstrated ability in providing direction, decision making, coaching.
Oversight of Customer Service.
Proven ability to meet and exceed Customers' expectations.
Strong organization skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Sound judgment in decision making and problem solving.
Ability to multi-task and maintain order in the Store.
Good working knowledge of Outlook, Lotus Notes, Word and Excel.
Ability to supervise and lead others.
Ability to provide community services.
High School Diploma or GED required; Undergraduate degree preferred.
40 hours/week
Must be eligible for registration as a registered mortgage loan originator with the NMLS. Satisfactory results on a criminal background check and a credit report check. Occasional domestic travel. Requires process management knowledge.
