Description

The Store Manager III at TD Bank is responsible for leading and contributing to the growth and profitability of the Consumer Business by managing a store portfolio, including deposits, loans, fees, and expenses. This role involves coaching and motivating the store team to deliver exceptional employee and customer experiences, achieving shareholder value through effective solutions and referrals, and deepening customer relationships by connecting them with appropriate specialists. The manager also oversees operational aspects, risk management, and team development to meet business objectives and customer needs.

What We're Looking For

Develop, lead, and contribute to the growth and profitability of the Consumer Business through store portfolio management (deposits, loans, fees, expenses).,Lead, coach, and motivate the Store team to deliver a legendary Employee and Customer Experience and achieve shareholder value.,Focus on deepening customer relationships and refer customers to the right specialists.,Provide people management leadership including hiring, goal setting, staff development, performance and compensation decisions, and disciplinary actions.,Manage a large-sized store and team.,Accountable for achieving both Store and individual performance metrics.,Ability to manage multiple store locations and/or a diverse and complex customer base, if required.,Act as the highest point of escalation/contact within the store for issues.,Originate loan applications, handle Conditions of Lending, and conduct loan closings.,Maintain active registration status with NMLS.,Oversee management of team requiring workforce to decision on acceptable level of risk (Moderate to High risk potential).,Manage the Store budget to meet expense and revenue objectives.,Ensure necessary due diligence to support the accuracy of all customer transactions/activities.,Follow and ensure colleagues understand and apply bank operating policies and procedures.,Identify and manage risks, and escalate non-standard, high-risk transactions/activities as necessary.,Keep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impacts.,Lead, coach, and develop store teammates, providing on-going feedback and performance reviews.,Recruit for all hires to ensure a highly diverse, qualified workforce.,Occasional domestic travel.

Ideal Candidate

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.,5+ years related experience required (retail, customer service and/or financial services industries).,Supervisory, leadership and coaching experience required.,5+ years experience of proven business development skills, including ability to conceptualize and implement strategies.,5+ years of proven leadership and coaching experience required.,Small Business and Consumer lending experience required.,Knowledge of Bank product lines and services as well as an understanding of Store operations and security.,Proven ability to manage competing priorities, strategically aligning efforts and activities to meet Store goals and objectives.,Ability to negotiate, manage relationships and influence across the Region, Market, and Business line.,Notary License (preferred).

Must be eligible for employment with a covered financial institution under Regulation Z of the Truth in Lending Act.,Must be eligible for registration as a registered mortgage loan originator with the NMLS.,Requires satisfactory results on a criminal background check and a credit report check.,Requires statements/certification from job applicant regarding administrative, civil, and/or criminal findings by any government agency/authority.,Occasional domestic travel.
