This role involves managing a retail store portfolio for TD Bank, focusing on consumer business growth and profitability. The manager leads, coaches, and motivates the store team to provide excellent customer and employee experiences while achieving financial goals through solutions and referrals. The position emphasizes deepening customer relationships and ensuring customer needs are met by directing them to appropriate specialists.

What We're Looking For

Develop and lead the store team, managing performance, compensation, and disciplinary actions.,Manage a medium-sized store and team, focusing on talent development and achieving business results.,Accountable for both individual and store performance metrics.,Potentially manage multiple locations or a diverse customer base.,Act as a peer mentor for developing store managers.,Apply expert knowledge of banking, operations, and risk management.,Provide coaching and mentorship.,Serve as the highest point of escalation for customer issues.,Originate loan applications, handle conditions of lending, and conduct loan closings.,Maintain active NMLS registration.,Manage service and advice teams, promoting positive customer and colleague experiences.,Coach team on sales and service strategies, and customer problem resolution.,Actively promote the bank's brand within the community.,Build client relationships and proactively address customer needs.,Ensure professional appearance of store premises.,Optimize colleague scheduling to meet customer demands.,Oversee daily operational and administrative duties.,Create store-specific strategies for business growth.,Utilize reporting to identify opportunities for customer acquisition and relationship deepening.,Partner with specialists (Small Business, Commercial, Consumer Lending, Wealth) to grow the store portfolio.,Manage the store budget, expenses, and revenue.,Drive 'One TD' initiatives, including digital partnerships.,Proactively engage prospects and develop relationships with COIs.,Ensure accuracy of customer transactions and adherence to operating policies.,Identify and manage risks, escalating high-risk transactions.,Stay updated on regulatory requirements.,Foster a culture of risk management and compliance.,Collaborate with other business lines for referrals and training.,Lead, coach, and develop team members to create a consistent customer experience.,Set team targets and objectives, and ensure accountability.,Grow team expertise and provide ongoing feedback and performance reviews.,Ensure compliance with HR policies and guidelines.,Recruit a diverse and qualified workforce.,Foster a cohesive team and promote a fair and equitable environment.,Act as a brand ambassador.

Ideal Candidate

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.,4+ years of related experience in retail, customer service, and/or financial services.,4+ years of supervisory, leadership, and coaching experience.,4+ years of proven business development skills.,Small Business and Consumer lending experience.,Knowledge of Bank product lines, services, operations, and security.,Strong financial analysis skills.,Strong presentation, analytical, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.,Excellent verbal and written communication skills.,Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate team members.,Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.,Notary License (preferred).,Eligible for employment with a covered financial institution under Regulation Z.,Eligible for registration as a registered mortgage loan originator with the NMLS.,Satisfactory results on criminal background check and credit report check.
