The Store Manager I is responsible for leading and growing the Consumer Business within a store by managing deposits, loans, fees, and expenses. This role involves coaching and motivating the store team to provide excellent customer and employee experiences, while focusing on deepening customer relationships and achieving business objectives through referrals to specialists. The manager also handles people management, operational oversight, and ensures compliance with banking policies and regulations.
Manage a small-sized store and team, providing leadership and guidance.,Oversee and lead the team, developing skills and capabilities.,Accountable for achieving both Store and individual performance metrics.,Possess knowledge of business, banking, and bank operations.,Possess process management knowledge and understanding of risk profiles.,Provide coaching, mentorship, and guidance to teammates.,Act as the highest point of escalation/contact within the store for issues.,Originate loan applications, handle Conditions of Lending, and conduct loan closings.,Maintain active registration with NMLS (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry).,Manage the service and advice team, promoting positive customer and colleague experiences.,Coach teams on product information, sales strategies, and advice-giving.,Ensure customer issues are handled appropriately and participate in problem resolution.,Actively promote the Bank's presence within the community.,Build relationships to proactively address customer needs.,Contribute to achieving service customer experience targets.,Oversee store premises and ensure professional appearance.,Ensure optimal colleague scheduling.,Provide ownership/oversight of complex daily operational/administrative duties.,Create store-specific strategies to grow the business.,Use reporting to identify opportunities for customer acquisition and deepening relationships.,Partner with Specialists to grow and advise customers.,Work with partners (Small Business, Commercial, Consumer Lending, Wealth) to grow the Store Portfolio.,Manage the Store budget to meet expense and revenue objectives.,Drive One TD by increasing partnership across Retail and other Lines of Business.,Proactively reach out to prospects to develop relationships.,Identify and develop relationships with Personal, Small Business, and COIs.,Ensure accuracy of customer transactions/activities.,Follow and ensure colleagues understand bank operating policies and procedures.,Identify and manage risks, escalating high-risk transactions.,Keep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and regulatory requirements.,Maintain a culture of risk management and control.,Ensure colleagues are knowledgeable and minimize operational/regulatory risk.,Work with other business lines to stay informed of market trends and support referrals.,Lead, coach, and develop store teammates to create a consistent customer experience.,Coach teammates to provide the best advice to customers.,Manage the overall team, providing leadership and guidance.,Set targets and objectives for the team and hold them accountable.,Grow team expertise and assess skills/capabilities.,Lead a high-performing team, providing feedback, reviews, and development.,Ensure compliance with all human resources policies, procedures, and guidelines.,Share knowledge and ensure timely communication of issues.,Support an environment where challenges are escalated.,Recruit for all hires to ensure a diverse, qualified workforce.,Establish and foster a cohesive team, promoting a fair and equitable environment.,Act as a brand ambassador for your business area/function and the bank.
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.,3+ years relevant experience (retail, customer service, and/or financial services industries).,1+ years leadership and coaching experience.,Small Business and Consumer lending experience (preferred).,Notary License (preferred).

Maintains an active registration status with NMLS (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry).,Must be eligible for employment with a covered financial institution under the standards established by Regulation Z of the Truth in Lending Act.,Must be eligible for registration as a registered mortgage loan originator with the NMLS.,Satisfactory results on a criminal background check and a credit report check, and statements/certification from job applicant regarding administrative, civil, and/or criminal findings by any government agency/authority, are required by federal law for this position.
