Store Manager I - Rockland

Description

The Store Manager I develops, leads, and contributes to the growth and profitability of TD Bank's Consumer Business by managing a store portfolio that includes deposits, loans, fees, and expenses. This role involves leading, coaching, and motivating the store team to deliver an exceptional employee and customer experience, achieve shareholder value through strategic solutions and referrals, and foster customer relationships by providing excellent advice and meeting their financial needs.

What We're Looking For

Provide people management leadership, including hiring, goal setting, staff development, performance management, and disciplinary actions.,Manage a small-sized store and team, overseeing and leading to grow talent and achieve business results.,Accountable for achieving both store and individual performance metrics.,Act as the highest point of escalation for customer and internal issues within the store.,Originate loan applications, handle conditions of lending, and conduct loan closings.,Maintain an active registration status with NMLS (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry).,Manage the service and advice team to promote a positive customer and colleague experience.,Coach and develop team members on services, products, and sales strategies to improve customer experience and financial confidence.,Ensure customer issues are handled appropriately, participating in negotiation and problem resolution when necessary.,Actively promote the Bank's brand within the community through participation in business groups and initiatives.,Build relationships to promote a client-centered organization and proactively address customer needs.,Oversee store premises, ensuring a professional and inviting appearance for customers and colleagues.,Ensure optimal colleague scheduling to meet customer demands.,Provide ownership/oversight of complex daily operational/administrative duties.,Create store-specific strategies to grow the business.,Utilize reporting to identify opportunities for acquiring and deepening customer relationships (deposits, investments, loans).,Partner with specialists to grow and advise new and existing customers.,Work with partners (Small Business, Commercial, Consumer Lending, Wealth) to grow the Store Portfolio.,Manage the Store budget to meet expense and revenue objectives.,Drive 'One TD' by building awareness and engagement across Retail and all Lines of Business with a focus on Digital.,Proactively reach out to prospects to develop and deepen relationships through needs-based conversations.,Identify and develop relationships with Personal, Small Business, and Centers of Influence (COIs).,Achieve business objectives for Operational Excellence, ensuring accuracy of all customer transactions/activities.,Follow and ensure colleagues understand and apply bank operating policies and procedures.,Protect the interests of the organization by identifying and managing risks, escalating high-risk transactions/activities.,Keep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impacts.,Maintain a culture of risk management and control.,Ensure colleagues are knowledgeable and minimize operational and regulatory risk by complying with the Bank and industry Code of Conduct.,Work alongside other business lines to stay abreast of market trends and support referrals.,Lead, coach, and develop store teammates to create a consistent legendary customer experience.,Coach teammates to provide the best advice to potential and existing TD Bank customers.,Responsible for the overall management of the team, providing leadership and guidance.,Set targets and objectives for the team and hold them accountable for results.,Grow team expertise, assess skills, and enhance value delivered to customers.,Lead a high-performing team, provide ongoing feedback, and conduct performance reviews.,Ensure colleagues comply with all human resources policies, procedures, and guidelines of conduct.,Share knowledge, information, skills, and subject matter expertise among the team, encouraging good working relationships.,Support an environment where business challenges are freely escalated and facilitate change.,Recruit for all hires to ensure a highly diverse, qualified workforce.,Establish and foster a cohesive team, promoting a fair and equitable environment.,Act as a brand ambassador for the business area/function and the bank.

Ideal Candidate

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.,3+ years relevant experience in retail, customer service, and/or financial services industries.,1+ years leadership and coaching experience.,Small Business and Consumer lending experience (preferred).,Knowledge of Bank product lines, services, store operations, and security.,Proven ability to manage competing priorities and align efforts to meet Store goals.,Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.,Notary License (preferred).
