Lightspeed is seeking a Staff Product Manager to join its Payments (Money Movement) team. This role focuses on building experiences and services that drive merchant success globally. The position involves defining overall product direction and strategy through collaboration with customers and internal teams, requiring adaptability, ownership, and effective teamwork to address customer pain points on an international scale.
Responsibilities include crafting feature and scope definitions, leading cross-functional strategy with various internal teams and payment partners to architect fee allocation models, pricing frameworks, and scalable payout infrastructure. The role requires synthesizing customer insights and market dynamics to define long-term product strategy, owning end-to-end product architecture and roadmap, and driving alignment across engineering, design, and business leaders. It also involves incubating new product bets, partnering with Go-to-Market leadership for launch strategies, defining success metrics, and acting as an organizational authority for the domain, including mentoring other Product Managers. Must have a proven product management track record in SaaS products at scale.
Successful candidates must have a proven product management track record in SaaS products at scale, Fintech experience, and a Bachelor's degree. An MBA is optional. Understanding of ecommerce, hospitality, and other critical retail/hospitality merchant workflows is beneficial.
