Join RBC as a Sr. Technical Systems Analyst Unix, focusing on automation, integration, and Unix Platform Support. This role involves providing Level 2 and Level 3 support, contributing to automation/continuous improvement projects, and driving the adoption of infrastructure as code (IaC) to shape the future of global infrastructure.
Work with multiple hardware and software platforms at an intermediate level.
Understand and meet business unit information needs, primarily L2 and L3 support.
Implement and support hardware, software, and telephony systems for Customer Support infrastructure.
Apply extensive, in-depth knowledge and skills to perform complex assignments.
Collaborate with technology organizations and business partners to anticipate and develop solutions for information flow challenges.
Ensure system availability and space to meet hardware and software requirements for Customer Support.
Design, develop, implement, and maintain reports and reporting tools for service centers and enterprise partners.
Minimum of 5 years in IT infrastructure/Support.
At least 3 years working with automation technologies.
Experience with enterprise Linux distributions (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
Experience with IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Github).
Experience with Python, Korn/Bourne Shell scripting.
Prior experience working with/maintaining scalable, highly available infrastructure on public clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Strong interpersonal skills for troubleshooting, escalation, and cross-functional team partnership.
Ability to be on call once every 5 weeks for one week.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, or container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker)
