Description

Manage and grow a dedicated client portfolio by building relationships, creating comprehensive financial plans, and delivering exceptional client service. Focus on the Imperial Service approach, helping clients plan for current and future financial goals through proactive engagement, understanding their needs, and providing advice using CIBC tools. This role requires flexibility to work banking centre hours, including evenings and weekends, and at multiple banking centres within reasonable travel distance.

Grow your network to create lasting connections that will generate future opportunities.,Demonstrate 1.5 – 3 years experience in financial advisory role managing and growing your own portfolio of clients.,Must be legally eligible to work at the specified location(s).

Ideal Candidate

Certified professional (CIRO-MFD) with current accreditation and good standing in The Canadian Securities Course (CSC)/Canadian Investments Funds Course (CIFC)/Investment Funds in Canada Course (IFC), and must meet eligibility requirements for CIRO-MFD licensing upon hire.,Personal Financial Planner (PFP) within 24 months of hire.,For Quebec roles: Certified professional with current accreditation and good standing in AMF licensing; Successful completion of Canadian Investment Funds Course (CIFC) or the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) to support AMF (Autorité des Marchés Financiers) licensing, and Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC). Asset: CSI/ICB Investment and Taxation Fundamentals Course - Quebec (0774) and CSI/ICB Legal & Ethical Aspects of Financial Planning Course (0790).
