Description

As a Senior Solution Designer at CIBC, you will be an individual contributor responsible for designing complex, enterprise-wide initiatives that involve multiple back-end systems. You will join the Technology team and focus on the functional design of applications across various technical platforms, contributing to CIBC's digital landscape.

What We're Looking For

Perform and coordinate complex application design activities.,Understand business requirements and translate them into design specifications for development and QA teams.,Design and document technical functionality, infrastructure, database, interfaces, and integrations.,Lead the design of cost-effective and innovative solutions and maintain/enhance existing applications.,Develop 1-3 year technology roadmaps aligned with CIBC’s vision and strategy.,Spearhead multiple complex projects involving strategic solutions, new technologies, and innovations.,Act as the lead designer, interfacing with project teams and moderating design review sessions to ensure alignment with business and project requirements, as well as architectural directions.,Support and mentor intermediate and senior designers and developers through knowledge sharing, collaboration, and problem-solving.

Ideal Candidate

8-10 years of hands-on experience as a Solution Designer or in a similar role.,Practical working knowledge of Payments, Card Management, and Fraud.,Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Technical discipline.
