This role involves strategically managing and supporting the effective licensing position (ELP) of software assets for the organization. The manager will act as a subject matter expert on various licensing models, cost reporting, optimization, and contract compliance. Key responsibilities include reviewing licensing agreements, tracking optimization, identifying risks, driving ELP findings with stakeholders, and collaborating with partners to ensure compliance and data integrity.
Serve as Subject Matter Expert on Effective Licensing Positioning (ELP) by conducting reviews of software/hardware licensing agreements, entitlements, and comparing against deployment, usage, and consumption.,Lead on-going tracking, optimization, entitlement validation, identification of risks and compliance concerns, and providing strategic insights in preparation and anticipation of contract renewals.,Identify and work with product owners to share whether under-licensed or over-licensed, prior to annual true-up or renewal date.,Drive ELP findings with stakeholders, product owners, and remediation activities for closure.,Collaborate with stakeholders, partners, and vendors in ELPs, data reviews, audits, and inventory checks to ensure compliance with governance standards and data integrity.,Analyze large asset data sets and develop reports and dashboards to identify trends, optimize utilization, and provide insights into inventory, usage, and costs.
Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years of experience working in Software Asset Management, licensing compliance, Flexera and ServiceNow.,In-depth knowledge and experience in working with software entitlements, EULAs and contracts.,Extensive experience in managing license compliance with large software publishers and various licensing models.,Experience in audit readiness.,Excellent documentation, analytical, presentation and communication skills.,Process flow and knowledge documentation.,Practical experience in reporting and analytics of data.,Strong experience working with vendors and service providers.,Experience working in financial banking industry.,Nice-to-have: Understanding of ITAM governance, policies and compliance standards.,Nice-to-have: Experience working with large amounts of data sets in various asset management industry tools.,Nice-to-have: Experience with documenting workflows and process gap analysis (Microsoft Visio, Mural).,Nice-to-have: Professional certifications CSAM, CITAM.,Nice-to-have: Experience working with automation and AI in SAM processes for efficient compliance monitoring.
