The Sr. Relationship Manager at TD Bank serves commercial banking clients by customizing products and services. The manager acts as a trusted advisor, structuring competitive solutions that address clients' financing, cash management, and overall business needs.

What We're Looking For

Develop new business with prospects having complex credit needs.,Anticipate customer trends to recommend products and services and expand the business.,Oversee the management and activities of large accounts and related servicing teams.,Manage strategic relationships characterized by significantly complex products and services.,Solve unique problems with broad impact on the business segment and financials.,Develop and implement new and innovative approaches to the sales process, including negotiation of terms.,Provide expert advice internally and externally; lead problem resolution for complex project requirements.,Responsible for growth goals (loans, deposits, fees) individually and within the team.,Make sales calls, gather financial and general business information, and coordinate financial analyses for credit decisions.,Contribute to and make recommendations in the loan decision process based on credit risk evaluation.,Negotiate specific terms and conditions and communicate credit decisions.,Lead all aspects of relationship management for an assigned portfolio/segment/geography.,Deliver exceptional customer service and continuously improve the customer experience.,Act as a trusted advisor providing creative products/solutions.,Actively use sales platforms to build a robust understanding of customer/target needs, industries, and markets.,Understand customer's operating environment and structure unique financing, cash management, and overall business needs.,Actively generate referrals to all business partners within the Bank.,Develop a clear retention plan for assigned portfolio deposits and loans.,Possess and constantly enhance expert knowledge of the market, customers, and broader economic factors.,Identify and respond to changes in the business environment and establish action plans.,Identify customer/prospect referral opportunities to internal Bank partners.,Develop community relationships and participate in civic and professional organizations/networking events.,Develop and implement sales strategies to attract, acquire, and retain customers/sales opportunities/referrals.,Plan and execute business development activities, review results, and adjust tactics.,Promote and offer a full suite of products, sales, services, and banking capabilities.,Assess credit requests to determine risk and make appropriate recommendations for structuring deals.,Contribute to credit applications with high quality of risk assessment, credit structure, and due diligence.,Contribute to business objectives for Operational Excellence and support timely and accurate completion of processes.,Protect the organization's interests: identify/manage risks and escalate non-standard/high-risk transactions.,Ensure documentation is accurate, reflects client/business intentions, and is consistent with regulations.,Identify, suggest, and actively participate in process improvement opportunities.,Actively manage relationships within and across various business lines/corporate and control functions.,Participate in cross-functional/enterprise initiatives as a subject matter expert.,Ensure necessary due diligence to support the accuracy of all customer transactions/activities.,Keep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements.,Maintain a culture of risk management and control in alignment with risk appetite.,Participate fully as a member of the team, supporting a positive work environment.,Provide thought leadership and participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business unit.,Keep current on emerging trends/developments and grow knowledge of the business.,Participate in personal performance management and development activities, including cross-training.,Keep others informed and up-to-date about project status and day-to-day activities.,Contribute to team development through mentorship, knowledge sharing, and best practices.,Lead, motivate, and develop relationships with internal and external business partners.,Contribute to a fair, positive, and equitable environment that supports a diverse workforce.,Act as a brand ambassador for your business area/function and the bank.

Ideal Candidate

Undergraduate degree.,10+ years relevant experience.
