Description

The Sr. Relationship Manager at TD Bank is responsible for serving the needs of the community commercial banking business. This involves acquiring, developing, and managing commercial banking relationships by offering customized solutions across various commercial segments. The role focuses on growing the portfolio by providing financial solutions and developing new business from both existing and new customers. This position acts as a trusted advisor, understanding customer operating environments, and structuring practical and competitive solutions for financing, cash management, and overall business needs to add value to the customer's portfolio. The role also includes identifying and interpreting market trends, developing new business with complex credit needs, and managing strategic accounts.

What We're Looking For

Undergraduate degree,10+ years relevant experience,In-depth understanding of commercial industry, business development techniques and credit decisions,Proven business development track record, with proven ability to conceptualize and implement effective new business strategies,Extensive network of outside referral sources for new business,Excellent credit and financial analysis skills,Effective negotiation skills,Responsible for growth goals (loans, deposits, fees), individually and within the team, through new business development and cross-selling,Makes sales calls and coordinates sales calling efforts, gathers financial and business information, and coordinates financial analyses for credit decisions,Contributes recommendations to the loan decision process based on credit risk evaluation,Negotiates specific terms and conditions and communicates credit decisions,Leads all aspects of relationship management for an assigned portfolio/segment/geography,Delivers exceptional customer service and continuously improves customer experience,Acts as a trusted advisor providing creative products/solutions,Uses sales platforms to understand customer/target needs, industries, and markets,Understands customer's operating environment to structure unique financing, cash management, and business needs,Generates referrals to all business partners,Develops a clear retention plan for assigned portfolio deposits and loans,Possesses expert knowledge of the market, customers, and broader economic factors,Identifies and responds to changes in the business environment, establishing action plans for customer issues,Identifies customer/prospect referral opportunities to internal Bank partners,Develops community relationships and participates in civic and professional organizations
