Sr. Project Manager, IT
Description
As a Senior Project Manager, IT at CIBC, you will be a seasoned expert managing day-to-day activities of complex tactical projects. You will ensure adherence to project control procedures and policies, applying deep knowledge in project management best practices, planning, and reporting. The role involves managing delivery, leading analytical approaches, and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, providing regular status updates and progress reports.
What We're Looking For
Outline project goals, terms of reference, resource requirements, and costs.,Create a resource plan ensuring all stakeholders are involved.,Assess efficiency of team practices and provide guidance for continuous improvement of project plans.,Proactively identify and mitigate risks to the project schedule.,Monitor milestones to ensure completion according to timelines and budgets.,Execute project plans balancing budget, time, and risk.,Develop trusted working relationships with business stakeholders, technology partners, and leadership.,Mentor colleagues with extensive experience.
Ideal Candidate
Degree/diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field of study.,PMP designation (asset).,Payment systems experience (asset).
