Description

This role is with the Enterprise Technology team at CIBC, supporting CIBC Mellon and an internal Line of Business. The Senior Project Coordinator - IT is responsible for tracking and monitoring information requests, making decisions on work methods for various services like resourcing, budgeting, planning, compliance, and tracking. They exercise independent judgment, provide technical guidance, and engage subject matter experts. The coordinator works with limited direction to support the development and maintenance of technology platforms, processes, and governance models.

What We're Looking For

Work independently throughout all project management lifecycle phases for smaller initiatives.,Develop, manage, and control schedules by updating, making mitigation decisions, and escalating as appropriate.,Support Project Managers throughout all project management lifecycle phases for larger initiatives.,Track progress and make recommendations on response plans for risks, resolution plans for issues, and results on action items.,Track and reconcile project financials, ensure resolution of anomalies, update and reconcile latest estimates.,Provide after-hours or weekend support for project activities and implementations when required.

Ideal Candidate

3-5 years of experience managing all facets of a project as a Senior IT Project Coordinator under Waterfall methodologies.,Hands-on experience creating project artifacts and supporting Project Managers during the project management lifecycle.,Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite and MS Project.,Strong written and verbal communication skills.,Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle and enterprise development concepts.
