Sr. Manager, Reporting & Analytics

The Sr. Manager, Reporting & Analytics will join the Wealth Management Canada Business Intelligence Team. This role focuses on modernizing analytics infrastructure by migrating legacy reporting systems to cloud-based platforms (Snowflake/Tableau), developing impactful dashboards and reports, and implementing data governance best practices. The position supports business users across investment advisory, branch management, and head office functions, driving strategic transformation in data and analytics.

What We're Looking For

Lead the migration of reports from legacy SAS systems to Snowflake/Tableau, ensuring smooth transitions.

Conduct discovery sessions with business stakeholders to gather and prioritize reporting and analytics requirements.

Design and build intuitive dashboards and reports for diverse Wealth Management Canada stakeholders.

Develop expertise in the data landscape, identify authoritative data sources, and serve as a resource for data location and accessibility.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams, and other departments to meet project deliverables.

Support the timely and accurate delivery of regulatory reports (e.g., CRM3, CIRO).

Create comprehensive documentation, data dictionaries, and knowledge base articles.

Support cloud-first migration to Snowflake for near real-time analytics.

Support data governance initiatives including automated validation, data lineage, and metadata management.

Drive adoption of modernized reporting frameworks and monitor end-user engagement.

Identify opportunities to automate reporting and eliminate redundant processes.

Ideal Candidate

7+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, reporting or related field.

Proficiency with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent) and MS Excel.

Experience with SQL and relational databases.

Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.

Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.

Nice-to-have: Experience with Snowflake or cloud data platforms.

Nice-to-have: Familiarity with SAS.

Nice-to-have: Knowledge of financial services or wealth management industry.

Nice-to-have: Understanding of regulatory reporting requirements (e.g., CRM3, CIRO).
