The Senior Manager, Learning Solutions Advisor acts as a strategic partner and advisor to business or functional groups. They are responsible for enabling the creation, delivery, and measurement of comprehensive learning solutions that align with strategic business priorities. This role involves developing and implementing learning strategies to enhance individual, team, and organizational effectiveness at TD. It requires collaborating with HR partners and business leaders, managing relationships, and overseeing deliverables across multiple project phases. The position demands critical strategic thinking, understanding of TD's operating model, knowledge of performance consulting practices, strong strategy planning, change management, collaboration, stakeholder management, and communication skills to drive change and implement best practices for company and departmental results.

Act as a strategic partner and advisor for a portfolio of business or functional groups.,Accountable to enable the creation, delivery and measurement of comprehensive learning solutions aligned to strategic business priorities.,Develop and support the implementation of learning strategies to build individual, team and organizational effectiveness.,Work in a collaborative fashion with HR partners and business leaders, managing relationships and overall deliverables across multiple phases.,Requires critical strategic thinking, a good balance between understanding TD's Operating Model and program structure and governance.,Possess solid knowledge of performance consulting practices.,Demonstrate strong strategy planning, change management, collaboration, stakeholder management, and communication skills.,Foster and influence change and implement best practices to drive Company and departmental results.,Develop effective policies and programs in a specialized Human Resources unit and act as a subject matter expert.,Oversee programs / services / issues that are highly complex, have wide scope / impact, and require broad business knowledge.,Work closely and effectively with HR partners in the businesses and other specialized areas.,Understand differing needs of business units / functions and adapt advice within overall strategy and policy.,Identify and escalate issues having broad corporate implications / risks.,Lead a team of Human Resources professionals.,Ensure business partners and Human Resources are provided with high quality advice and support.,Share expert knowledge, provide advice and counsel to business management and Human Resources teams.,Contribute to special initiatives by representing TDBFG / the business internally and externally.,Monitor and communicate the effectiveness of strategies, programs, and practices.,Ensure programs and practices continue to meet business needs, comply with internal and external requirements, and align with Human Resources priorities.,Develop and manage a team of high quality resources through recruitment, training, coaching, and performance management.,Oversee the development of the department's business plan and monitor actual results.,Lead and follow-up on action planning to address Employee survey results.,Ensure integration of other areas of expertise in the development and delivery of programs and policies.,In partnership with appropriate HR practitioners, develop implementation strategies, anticipating HR issues beyond own area of expertise.,Understand and support the Bank's Customer Service Strategy.,Consider the impact of advice and decisions on the well-being of the Bank, its customers, employees and stakeholders.,Provide the highest level of Customer service.,Lead, coach and model quality service delivery at every interaction.,Support the ongoing improvement of the partner/Customer experience.,Set appropriate context for the business unit/function to enable optimal performance and alignment to strategy.,Support the creation of goals and objectives for the business unit/function and communicate them to the team.,Build capability to acquire, develop and retain diverse teams.,Role model behaviors consistent with TD's leadership profile, customer and employee experience agendas and risk and control culture.,Create an extraordinary place to work.,Represent TD at civic, professional and bank-sponsored events.,Support the development and implementation of operational strategies and objectives.,Participate in establishing and executing plans and goals for the Business.,Develop and maintain an operating budget.,Communicate business strategies, programs and practices.,Deliver business services, functions and capabilities that optimize the use of process, technology and people.,Ensure the business / function operate within TD's Risk Appetite.,Successfully complete all required job specific, compliance-related training.,Understand, utilize and follow compliance/risk and control programs.,Consult with all risk functions in the development and documentation of policies, procedures and controls.,Ensure ongoing compliance with internal / external audit and regulatory requirements.,Provide prompt and comprehensive response to all external audit, regulator and compliance requests and findings.,Maintain appropriate records of action plans.

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor's degree or progressive work experience in addition to experience below,10+ Years of related experience,In depth knowledge of a specialized Human Resources function,Expert communication, facilitation and presentation skills,Proven ability to deal with all levels of management,Strong Customer Service orientation and ability to establish strong working relationships with internal and external clients,Solid understanding in the learning and development field (Preferred),An analytical mind with orientation to detail for handling initiatives, projects and programs with minimal direction from management (Preferred),Sound knowledge of using analytical software tools and generative AI tools (CoPilot) to perform daily work (Preferred),A dynamic professional with willingness to take initiative on tasks and projects (Preferred),Advanced knowledge of multiple HR specialties, HR strategy development, HR policy, consulting principles, and banking industry practices and regulations (Preferred),Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interpret policies and apply standards to complete assignments in a fast-changing environment (Preferred)
