This role is for a Senior Manager within the Business Performance, Analytics, & Insights Centre of Excellence for Commercial Banking at Royal Bank of Canada. The incumbent will be responsible for supporting business performance management routines, including Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs), Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). Additionally, the role involves delivering impactful data-driven insights and recommendations through various ad-hoc analytics projects within a high-growth and evolving Commercial Banking platform, requiring strategic thinking and proactive initiative management.
Operate, own, and enhance management reporting packages such as MBR, QBR, and EVC, focusing on automating delivery, improving report effectiveness through thoughtful visualizations, and providing actionable insights to senior executives.,Leverage complex data to provide ad-hoc analytics and derive strategic insights, facilitating business decisions, exploring new banking product opportunities, driving new client acquisitions, and deepening client relationships.,Develop and implement robust performance management frameworks across commercial banking to ensure all stakeholders have the necessary information and analysis to increase market share, deepen client relationships, and improve client experience.,Partner with strategy teams to generate deep dive analyses required for developing growth strategies in key sectors such as Agriculture, Franchise, Supply Chain, and International Businesses.,Collaborate with Commercial Banking data and technology teams, as well as other data & analytics teams across RBC, to develop data strategy, mature data collection capabilities, and enhance technology infrastructure.,Evangelize the use of data within business management practices through comprehensive reporting, advanced analytics, and predictive modeling.
