The Senior Manager, BlackLine Capability Hub at CIBC is responsible for leading the configuration, management, and optimization of the BlackLine platform. This role involves close collaboration with Finance leadership, Technology, and Business stakeholders to establish and maintain strong global reconciliation processes that support CIBC’s financial accounting and control across its various entities. The position operates within a hybrid work model.

What We're Looking For

Execute on the Global Balance Sheet control strategy to ensure completeness and accuracy.,Oversee administration, configuration, and maintenance of the BlackLine platform.,Evaluate and execute onboarding of reconciliation processes onto the BlackLine platform.,Drive adoption of new features and best practices to maximize BlackLine platform value.,Oversee the development and delivery of BlackLine tools and analytical analysis.,Lead change management initiatives for BlackLine system upgrades, new module rollouts, and process changes.,Develop and deliver training programs for BlackLine system users and local administrators.,Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements and automation through BlackLine workflows.,Communicate effectively with Leaders and other stakeholders regarding system enhancements, risks, and opportunities.,Serve as the primary liaison between Finance, Technology, and Business units for BlackLine-related initiatives.

Ideal Candidate

Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.,5+ years’ experience in financial systems administration, accounting, or finance operations.,3+ years’ experience with BlackLine or similar financial close/reconciliation platforms.,Strong understanding of financial close processes, internal controls, and compliance requirements.,Proven leadership and team management skills.
