This is a strategic leadership role within TD Bank's Internal Audit function, responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously evolving a forward-thinking talent ecosystem. This includes workforce planning, talent acquisition, development, succession, and fostering a culture that incorporates cutting-edge internal audit objectives like data-driven risk sensing, AI-enabled assurance, and predictive analytics. The primary goal is to attract, retain, and deploy top-tier audit professionals to enhance organizational resilience and value creation.
Key responsibilities include leading the annual refresh of the audit talent strategy, building multi-year talent roadmaps to address capability gaps and headcount, and developing an "Auditor of the Future" skills framework. The role also involves designing targeted learning pathways, leading workforce forecasting, leveraging data analytics for workforce insights, and serving as a liaison with HR to integrate audit talent strategies with enterprise-wide initiatives. This includes co-developing recruitment profiles, performance management frameworks, and aligning with HR systems. Additional requirements include experience managing stakeholder expectations, proficiency with audit analytics tools, MS Office, Audit Management Systems, data analysis methods, and a deep understanding of compliance, risk management, and regulatory standards.
