Sr. HR Operations Specialist - US & Canada

Description

The Sr. HR Operations Specialist will provide timely and high-quality support to employees in the US and Canada, ensuring smooth day-to-day HR processes, compliance with local policies, and a positive employee experience. This role requires someone detail-oriented, knowledgeable in North American HR practices, and capable of working independently while collaborating with various HR, Payroll, Benefits, Compliance, Legal, and business teams. The team focuses on collaboration, excellence, continuous improvement, and balancing process efficiency with compliance, aiming to deliver accurate, timely information and enhance operations for future growth.

What We're Looking For

Serve as Tier 1 support for U.S.-based employees, responding to inquiries related to HR policies, processes, and Workday transactions.,Process employee life cycle changes in Workday (e.g., hires, terminations, job changes) with high accuracy and timeliness.,Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation, system access, and compliance steps.,Partner with U.S. HR Business Partners to support regional process execution and case escalations.,Ensure accurate and complete employee records in compliance with U.S. regulatory and company requirements.,Partner with the Global HR Compliance Lead and U.S. stakeholders to support audits, SOX reviews, and internal controls.,Run regular data audits to ensure consistency, flag anomalies, and maintain integrity across Workday and other systems.,Contribute to the creation, maintenance, and refinement of U.S. HR process documentation and employee-facing Knowledge Base content.,Participate in HR digital projects to drive automation, self-service, and ticket deflection.

Ideal Candidate

BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in HR, Business Administration, or related field.,3+ years of experience in HR operations, shared services, or employee services—preferably with U.S.-focused support.,Hands-on experience with Workday (or similar HRIS) and a case management system such as ServiceNow.,Understanding of U.S. employment practices, HR compliance, and documentation standards.
