Description

The Senior Financial Advisor will manage and develop a portfolio of specialized clients within CIBC's Personal and Business Banking team. This involves cultivating key relationships, creating comprehensive financial plans, and delivering exceptional client service. The role requires implementing the CIBC Imperial Service approach, taking responsibility for a broad client base, and guiding clients toward their financial goals. Proactive engagement with new and existing clients is essential to build lasting connections, understand objectives, utilize advanced CIBC tools for financial planning, and provide informed advice. The advisor must be available to work during banking hours, including evenings and weekends, and be flexible to work across various banking centers within a reasonable distance.

Ideal Candidate

Post-secondary diploma and/or four years of relevant experience.,Certified professional (CIRO-regulated investment dealer) with an up-to-date and in-good-standing CIRO-ID license.,For Quebec: Certified professional with an up-to-date and in-good-standing AMF license, successful completion of the Canadian Investment Funds Course (CIFC) or Canadian Securities Course (CSC) for AMF licensing, and holds the Retirement Advisor (CR) designation.,For Quebec (asset): Successful completion of CSI and IBC courses 'Investment and Taxation – Quebec (0774)' and 'Legal and Ethical Aspects of Financial Planning (0790)'.
