CIBC is seeking a Senior Consultant for their Enterprise Wires Modernization (EWM) program. This role involves creating solution designs for a new modernized wire payment platform, ensuring alignment across various phases and workstreams, and considering target state outcomes. The consultant will also be responsible for resolving any design and build issues that may arise during the program.
Provide comprehensive senior-level technical consulting to IT management and technical teams, collaborating with multiple Technology groups and Lines of Business to identify and evaluate existing applications and determine optimal approaches.,Define end-to-end technical solutions for enterprise payment systems (including originating channels, Payment Services Hubs, Payment Engines, and Payment rails), ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture strategies, current environment, and constraints.,Analyze the viability of solutions to meet product timelines, budget, and quality, and present solutions to various stakeholders.,Lead the design council to determine key aspects of the solution, secure stakeholder buy-in, and remediate design issues.,Evaluate and select new and emerging tools and techniques, and support business/technology proposals by estimating implementation costs and evaluating options.
At least 5-7 years of experience as a Solution or Technical Architect/Consultant.,Experience providing guidance to technical teams, creating executive decks independently, and presenting to executives.,Experience working with business and architecture teams to develop and design technology solutions.,Strong knowledge of high-value payments ecosystem (SWIFT/Lynx wire payments) is an asset.,Knowledge of Industry Payments Modernization initiatives (Global and Canadian) is an asset.,Solid experience with event-driven architecture, REST APIs, microservice architecture, CI/CD processes, DevOps pipelines, etc.,Knowledge of ISO20022 payment standard and payment processing platforms (Payment Services Hubs, payment engines) is an asset.,Degree/diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics, or a Technical discipline; an MBA is an asset.
