Description

The Senior QA IT Consultant will join CIBC’s Enterprise Data Technology department. This role involves managing people and projects/programs over $1 million across multiple lines of business. The consultant will ensure appropriate delivery of support services and adherence to standards, working with the team to make a meaningful impact within CIBC.

What We're Looking For

Track and analyze operating environment for specified services and implement corrective actions as needed.,Work with clients and internal partners to determine, negotiate and manage services to agreed standards.,Monitor service levels to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend appropriate solutions.,Lead and coach a high performing group team of individuals, maximizing their contributions and professional growth.,Share knowledge and collaborate to come up with effective solutions to problems.,Work closely with clients and business partners to develop, test, and implement application programs.,Advise application owners on technology possibilities and requirements.,Provide technical expertise and advice regarding existing and and emerging testing practices, tools, and processes.,Lead complex testing projects in compliance with established controls and standards.,Consult with various Technology teams to understand current testing theories and practices, developing testing standards and best practices.,Independently resolve ambiguous challenges with organization-wide impacts on cost and efficiency, devising new methods using strong analytic and inductive thinking.

Ideal Candidate

7+ years of experience with SQL, Azure, Oracle, DB2, ETL, Tosca, GitHub Copilot, Databricks, HP Quality Center, JIRA, Confluence, SOA, Python, Json, Parasoft, Mercury LoadRunner.,1-3 years of management experience leading testing teams and coordination efforts.,Strong background in Quality Assurance (Functional, Automation or Performance Testing).
