The Senior Consultant reports to the Director, Regulatory Compliance Management (RMC) Program and Policy, supporting Enterprise-wide Compliance initiatives. The role involves policy development, implementation, and advisory services, requiring collaboration across teams and subject matter expertise in Outside Business Activities (OBA) and MyComplianceOffice (MCO). Responsibilities include reviewing, maintaining, and improving key governance documents to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
Support Enterprise-wide Compliance initiatives and programs, focusing on policy development, implementation, and advisory services.,Collaborate across multiple teams and engage with stakeholders.,Act as a subject matter expert in Outside Business Activities (OBA) and MyComplianceOffice (MCO).,Assist in the review, maintenance, and continuous improvement of key governance documents (e.g., Compliance Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Management Policy, Related Party Policy, Quebec Integrity of Public Contracts (AMP), Outside Business Activity Guideline, Outside Business Activity Accountabilities Chart, Code of Conduct).,Ensure policies remain current, relevant, and aligned with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.,Assist in the design and preparation of senior management, executive, and Board reports for the CCO.,Act as a subject matter expert providing advice to other Compliance groups and CIBC employees regarding Compliance-owned policies.,Actively participate in Compliance industry associations and develop relationships with peers to stay abreast of industry developments.,Conduct research, review industry-wide best practices, and develop recommendations for EWC programs.,Develop and analyze metrics governing EWC programs and incorporate them into regular reporting.
