Description

This role is a Senior Consultant within CIBC's Employee Technology Services team. The individual will be responsible for planning and executing critical projects to enhance operational capabilities, acting as an end-to-end service steward for workplace technology experience at CIBC Square and related campus locations. The focus is on continuous improvement, innovation, and ensuring reliable, responsive, and seamless employee-facing technology services in a multi-stakeholder environment. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to adopt new technologies and processes is key, including initiatives like technology refresh strategies, space redesign, maintenance change activities, and incident management support.

What We're Looking For

Collaborate with senior leaders and make informed recommendations for employee-focused solutions.

Build strong relationships across diverse stakeholder groups and influence outcomes without formal authority.

Serve as the primary operational integrator across technology, facilities, real estate, and service teams.

Coordinate incident response and problem management efforts, ensuring clear communication.

Understand how change, risk, and operational governance intersect and facilitate structured processes.

Proactively contribute to governance initiatives, company policies, audit requirements, standards, and guidelines.

Facilitate change activities and service requests impacting workplace technologies.

Take ownership of service experience end-to-end, investigate deeply, challenge assumptions, and drive resolution.

Support periodic operational activities outside of standard business hours (e.g., testing, maintenance windows, critical change events).

Focus on employee experience and deliver trusted advice and technology solutions.

Maintain relationships with business management to identify technology needs.

Engage quickly when issues arise, ensure the right teams are involved, and follow through until closure.

Comfortable operating in ambiguity and contributing to the development of structure.

Previous experience establishing and maintaining stakeholder and sponsor relationships.

Experience in integration projects with keen interest in architecture and high-level design.

Ideal Candidate

5-6 years of experience in employee-facing technology ecosystems (e.g., AV, collaboration tools, network infrastructure, workplace applications) at a functional level.

Understanding of workplace technology operations, service delivery, campus technology environments, or complex cross-functional operational roles.

Ability to deliver results in a matrix environment without direct influence on project resources.

Digitally savvy, seeking innovative solutions and embracing evolving technologies.

Adaptable to new tools and trends.

Embraces and advocates for change, continuously evolving thinking and work methods.

Highly organized, responsive, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities.
