Sr. Consultant, Application Development (Environment Management)
Description
This role within Capital Markets Technology, Global Derivatives & FICC team focuses on supporting and maintaining QA, DEV, and Business Partner environments. The consultant will oversee the setup, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of all non-production and production environments, utilizing existing or new tools and processes to ensure smooth project delivery and meet business objectives.
What We're Looking For
Environment Maintenance, Monitoring and Currency: Ensure environments are provisioned, maintained, updated, and monitored for stability, reliability, and optimal performance, including managing hardware, network configurations, dependencies, patches, and updates.,Monitoring and Issue Resolution: Proactively monitor environment performance and availability, identify and resolve issues, coordinate troubleshooting with development and operations teams, and implement effective solutions to reduce repeat incidents.,Strategy & Process Enhancements: Develop and implement best practices for environment management, including automation and standardization, and identify opportunities to improve stability, scalability, and efficiency.
Ideal Candidate
4+ years of experience with Environment management tools, monitoring solutions, and automation platforms.,Strong understanding of IT infrastructure (servers, networks, databases, cloud platforms) and application lifecycle management.,Proven ability to troubleshoot environment issues and implement effective solutions.,Experience coordinating environment activities across multiple projects and teams.,Familiarity with ITIL, DevOps, or other relevant frameworks.,Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.,Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, AWS, Azure) preferred.
