Sr. Compliance Officer - Compliance Oversight Program (Associate) - TD Securities (US)

This Senior Compliance Officer position within the TDS US Compliance Monitoring & Testing (M&T) Team involves developing, implementing, and coordinating the Compliance Oversight program. The role focuses on overseeing first-line Risk Owner activities to ensure comprehensive compliance coverage and supports other Core Compliance program aspects globally. Key responsibilities include evaluating program design, analyzing risk owner testing, enhancing program elements, collaborating with global teams, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. The officer also provides guidance, supports risk management, and acts as a subject matter expert.

What We're Looking For

Develop, implement, and coordinate the Compliance Oversight program.,Evaluate program design elements and analyze Risk Owner testing and monitoring routines.,Enhance and implement key program elements.,Collaborate with colleagues globally to evaluate and coordinate with Risk Owners for compliance coverage.,Provide advice, guidance, and support to business units on regulatory/compliance requirements.,Assist in implementing compliance initiatives to manage regulatory risk.,Work independently as a senior officer and may coach/educate others.,Act as a subject matter expert, working closely with business partners, auditors, and regulators.,Monitor and communicate program effectiveness to stakeholders and senior management.,Communicate deficiencies and exercise credible challenge.,Maintain and update procedures, templates, and tools.,Assist Compliance testing with test execution.,Support issue management and foster a culture of compliance.,Participate in and contribute to working groups and collaborative efforts.

Ideal Candidate

Have a diverse range of financial products knowledge.,Working knowledge of market rules and regulations.,Thorough knowledge of the securities industry and operations of the capital markets.,Ability to think critically and make decisions.,Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.,Ability to deal with staff and management at all levels in TD Securities and TDBG.,Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.,Strong personal integrity in dealing with confidential and sensitive information.
