Sr. Business Systems Analyst, Enterprise Technology

Join CIBC's Enterprise Technology team as a Senior Business System Analyst to design solutions for the Client Operations Technology (COT) group. This role involves delivering CIBC Enterprise Requirements Methodology (CERM) work packages for complex, multi-application projects, acting as a subject matter expert in both business and technology. Responsibilities include providing data and insights for business cases, decision-making, costing, and solutioning, while collaborating with a diverse team to build innovative client-focused solutions by understanding business processes.

What We're Looking For

Work closely with business partners to gather complex business requirements and facilitate solution design discussions.,Create strong relationships, lead discussions, listen and ask the right questions to ensure solutions meet requirements.,Assemble client-focused solutions that meet business requirements.,Prepare and validate solution design documents around scope clarification, solution requirements, and quality assurance.,Maintain high quality standards while prioritizing urgent requests, balancing efficiency and accuracy to meet critical deadlines.,Support end-to-end project implementation as a subject matter expert.,Provide guidance to a diverse team of technology and project professionals.,Maintain a collaborative work environment and support team members to resolve organizational, operational, and process problems.

Ideal Candidate

3-5 years of experience in a BSC role leading projects and designing solutions.,Strong understanding of Business Analysis practices, roles and standards.,Strong understanding of Application and/or Architecture Development.,Knowledge of back-office systems and processing, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation (asset).

Minimum Education

Degree/diploma in Computer Science, Business, and/or a related field
