Description

This role at KPMG involves working within the Private Enterprise Tax practice to serve clients' planning and compliance needs. The Specialist will engage in diverse tax-related tasks, requiring both qualitative and quantitative analysis, and will have opportunities to work on special projects and conduct research to grow professionally.

What We're Looking For

Research and analyze a variety of tax issues, including assistance with structuring domestic and international investments.

Prepare corporate, partnership, trust, and personal tax returns.

Draft technical memos, instruction letters to legal counsel, and client reporting letters for senior review.

Prepare income tax models.

Review corporate and personal tax returns and tax provisions for audit and non-audit clients.

Interact with clients and team members.

Assist senior staff with corporate tax initiatives.

Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Demonstrate leadership and team building skills.

Exhibit strong time-management abilities and self-motivation.

Handle multiple priorities effectively.

Be keen to assist in the development and implementation of tax planning strategies.

Willingly take on and learn new skills through tax research.

Provide excellent client service, understand client businesses, and maintain strong client relationships.

Ideal Candidate

Minimum 3 years' experience in a public accounting firm.

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a similar field.

Successfully passed the CFE and obtained a CPA designation.

Currently enrolled or willing to enroll in the In-Depth Tax program.
