Description

The role is responsible for promoting and managing occupational health and safety prevention activities at the Saint-Léonard complex, including the development of an H&S operator under their charge.

What We're Looking For

Participate in developing and maintaining an OHS culture within the Saint-Léonard plant.,Develop and coordinate all occupational health and safety prevention programs, including corporate programs.,Participate in the evaluation and implementation of all projects in collaboration with different departments of the complex.,Implement and coordinate all activities related to the emergency measures program.,Conduct risk analyses related to operations, in conjunction with internal and external stakeholders.,Coordinate and lead health and safety committee meetings and various training sessions.,Coordinate training with department managers and ensure follow-up of health and safety training.,Ensure follow-up of various training sessions, including the integration of new employees.,Produce various reports for monitoring health and safety files.,Perform analyses and recommendations regarding different OHS measures and procedures.,Manage and control the annual health and safety budget.,Perform all other related tasks.

Ideal Candidate

5 to 10 years of experience in health and safety in a medium to large organization, preferably in the food sector.,Bachelor's degree in human resources or industrial relations or equivalent.,Health and safety certificate (an asset).,Experience in team management (an asset).,Ability to simultaneously manage several external stakeholders.,Good knowledge of applicable health and safety legislation.
