The Internal Sales Specialist plays a pivotal role in optimizing the sales process by providing comprehensive administrative, commercial, and operational support to sales directors, associates, and financial advisors/MGAs within the investment sector. This position ensures seamless communication between advisors and internal teams while delivering structured, rigorous, and timely sales support for financial products and investment solutions. It emphasizes leveraging investment industry knowledge, analytical skills, and client focus in a collaborative, compliant, and performance-driven environment.
Provide accurate and efficient administrative and commercial support to advisors and internal teams, specifically related to investment products, sales structures, regulatory documentation, and internal processes.,Act as a key contact person for financial advisors, BDMs, MGAs, and internal teams (operations, compliance, marketing, investment) to ensure clear communication, prompt responses, and diligent follow-ups.,Manage, maintain, and distribute sales concepts, tools, and presentations for investment solutions (segregated funds, mutual funds, investment strategies), including inventory management in collaboration with the sales team.,Support the engagement and development of investment advisors, including onboarding, presenting available tools and support, and conducting follow-ups after sales activities, training, or strategic announcements.
Possess a strong customer service orientation, excellent organizational skills, and a high degree of rigor, supported by post-secondary studies in administration, finance, investment, or a related field.,Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the ability to use digital platforms such as Constant Contact or equivalent tools.,Demonstrate a strong ability to prioritize effectively, adapt to constant changes, and deliver accurate work in a dynamic and high-pressure sales support environment.,Effective use of sales, file management, and CRM tools (e.g., EVO, Document Centre, My Clients, Business Tracker, WebArch, Workflow, FASAT / Salesforce, Microsoft Teams) to support advisors and the sales team in tracking sales and investment activities.,Experience in the insurance or investment industry, or in supporting it, is considered an asset, as well as practical experience with advisor networks and sales teams.,Advanced level of English, as the position involves delivering presentations in English and regular collaboration with colleagues across Canada.,Advanced level of French, as the position involves delivering presentations in French and regular collaboration with colleagues across Canada.
