Software Engineer III (Java; Spring Boot; Hibernate)

Description

This role involves leading the design and delivery of comprehensive technical solutions based on stakeholder requirements. The engineer will develop and maintain solutions, adhering to engineering and architectural principles, with a focus on efficiency, reliability, scalability, and security. Responsibilities include planning, evaluating, recommending, designing, operationalizing, and supporting solutions, as well as providing expert advice on system administration, installation, configuration, platform planning, design, integration, and release management.

What We're Looking For

Execute on engineering strategy for tools and automation of build, test, release, and configure activities.,Lead solution option creation and comprehensive end-to-end solution, coordinating stakeholders.,Develop and document detailed solution designs, acting as an application SME.,Accountable for complex applications/systems development and programming.,Develop functional, technical, and user interface designs meeting defined requirements.,Consult on requirements and specifications, applying functional knowledge.,Review technical deliverables for quality and identify gaps.,Identify, recommend, source, negotiate, and implement improvements.,Define metrics and performance goals with Technology partners.,Identify and address application/data issues and cross-capability issues.,Research/analyze business requirements to recommend optimal solutions.,Work with Architects to ensure environment modifications and data conversion are considered.,Contribute to TD engineering practice advancement.,Adhere to enterprise frameworks/methodologies.,Engage with stakeholders to proactively prevent defects.,Seek and support continuous improvement and automation.,Conduct functional or enterprise-level analysis.,Identify opportunities to minimize cost and enhance stakeholder experience.,Conduct code reviews for quality, standards, reusability, and maintenance.,Monitor service, productivity, and assess efficiency.,Lead/facilite remediation plans for performance/risk/governance issues.,Manage relationships with internal/external business partners.,Identify and manage risks, escalate non-standard activities.,Keep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and regulatory requirements.,Maintain a culture of risk management and control.,Participate in teamwork and ensure timely communication.,Provide thought leadership for quality engineering best practices.,Keep current on emerging trends/developments.,Participate in personal performance management and development.,Keep others informed about project status.,Actively mentor team members by sharing knowledge.,Lead, motivate, and develop relationships with business partners.,Contribute to a fair, positive, and equitable environment.,Act as a brand ambassador.

Ideal Candidate

Undergraduate degree, Post Graduate degree or Technical Certificate.,Strong academic background (e.g., computer science, engineering).,Graduate degree nice to have.,10+ years relevant experience in design and development.,Expert knowledge of the business, broader organization, technical environment, processes, procedures, tools.,Primary subject matter expert in multiple areas.,Expert knowledge of specific domain or range of engineering frameworks, technology, tools, processes, and procedures.
