Software Development Manager (Mobile)

Hire, onboard, train, and coach a team of high-performing individuals, supporting their career development through regular feedback, quarterly reviews, and structured development plans.,Help the team deliver code in a high-trust environment using continuous delivery, ensuring strong delivery cadence and stakeholder connection.,Evaluate the technical architecture of the mobile application and adopt industry trends.,Collaborate closely with the team to manage development initiatives, answer questions, and sign off on work results.,Report to the Director, Software Development, and interact frequently with Product Managers, Product Designers, Product Marketing Managers, and Support Specialists.,Lead by example and engage in some hands-on coding in Java, Golang, or Kotlin.,Contribute as part of the wider team to achieve organizational objectives, even if outside strict role scope.,Experience leading a team of mobile developers through successful software projects.,Experience providing technical leadership to deliver solutions to complex problems.,Understanding of Agile software development.,Experience in creating processes for bug fixing and improving application performance.,Significant experience in previous successes and failures to inform better decisions.,Adaptability to build, change, and adapt to the needs of a growing company.,Effective at nurturing relationships and managing multiple stakeholders.,Experience within a similar industry (helpful but not crucial).,Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle (helpful but not crucial).,Experience in mobile application development (helpful, but not crucial).
