Saputo Dairy UK is seeking a proactive and hands-on Shift Lead for their Operations team in Nuneaton. The role involves leading a production team on high-speed lines, ensuring operational excellence, compliance with health and safety and food safety standards, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced FMCG environment. What We're Looking For
Leading and motivating a team of approximately 18 Production Operators to meet production targets efficiently.,Ensuring compliance with health & safety, food safety (HACCP), and hygiene standards.,Monitoring performance metrics and troubleshooting issues in real-time.,Driving continuous improvement using Lean tools (SIC, T1/T2, 5S, GEMBA).,Championing Saputo’s Manufacturing Performance System (MPS) and DE&I values.,Collaborating cross-functionally with Engineering, Technical, Planning, and HR.
Ideal Candidate
Experienced in a production management role.,Skilled in leading diverse teams in an FMCG environment.,Knowledgeable in Lean manufacturing, HACCP, and food safety standards.,Strong communicator with excellent leadership and coaching skills.,Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools and production reporting systems.,Ideally certified in IOSH Health & Safety, Intermediate Food Hygiene, and HACCP Awareness.
