The Senior Trust Advisor at RBC Royal Trust will play a crucial role within a high-performing regional team, managing a book of trust accounts of varying complexity. This position requires providing an exceptional client experience through efficient, accurate, and timely administration, while also making daily decisions, assessing risks, and adhering to policies and procedures. The advisor will meet client needs and business unit objectives, enhance customer loyalty, and leverage the full capabilities of RBC Financial Group to ensure efficient administration of Estate and Trust Services.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, beneficiaries, and co-trustees.,Ensure effective administration of the account book.,Deliver superior service and comprehensive fiduciary solutions aligned with client needs and goals.,Identify, review, and document client strategic objectives, creating customized action plans.,Identify referral opportunities across the RBC network.,Develop and maintain strong working relationships within Royal Trust Services and with RBC partners, balancing the needs of clients, employees, and shareholders.,Proactively maintain timely written, verbal, and electronic communication with clients and key internal partners.,Ensure efficient and seamless new business processes for clients and professional advisors.,Demonstrate ownership and accountability for efficient client problem resolution.,Manage overall client relationships and represent the client portfolio.,Maintain awareness of operational risks or potential losses, recommending and implementing action plans.,Assist in coaching, mentoring, communication, and training for team members to foster their development and meet client needs.
Minimum of 3-5 years in a similar role.,Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course.,University Degree or equivalent.,Extensive knowledge and ability to communicate with clients about general investment, estate, financial, trust, taxation issues, including economic conditions.,Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) or Personal Financial Planner (PFP) designation, or working towards one (nice-to-have).
