This role involves managing TD Bank's Canadian and US P&C's non-trading market risk, consolidated liquidity risk, and capital positions within Treasury and Balance Sheet Management (TBSM). It also includes contributing to funding, securitization, and capital management programs. The Senior Treasury Manager will lead the implementation of wholesale liquidity products and regulatory/stress testing measurement frameworks, translating methodologies into business requirements and collaborating with various internal teams. Key responsibilities include reviewing liquidity treatments, leading a team to create business requirement documents, assessing data infrastructure, managing project priorities, developing proofs of concept, validating UAT test cases, and updating senior management.
Review new or updated liquidity treatments created by the Assumptions and Methodology team for various TDS strategies, products, activities and risks.,Lead a team in creating comprehensive business requirement documents.,Assess data infrastructure and operational considerations for requirements.,Manage ongoing project priorities and provide stakeholder inputs.,Develop proofs of concept with SQL or Excel for testing purposes.,Validate UAT test cases for liquidity and regulatory metrics.,Update senior management on project statuses and urgent matters.
7–10 years of relevant experience in Treasury, Risk, Finance, or Liquidity in a large financial institution.,Prior experience working with wholesale product source systems and liquidity management applications.,Understanding of wholesale banking products (e.g., repos, derivatives, commercial lending, structured notes) and their liquidity and regulatory implications.,Proven track record of motivating and developing high-performing teams.,Good organizational and time management skills to balance multiple deliverables under established timelines.,Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships with internal stakeholders and work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.,Deep knowledge of liquidity stress testing and regulatory frameworks including Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR), Net Cumulative Cash Flow (NCCF), and Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR) is strongly preferred.
