Senior Trade Officer Guarantees

Description

The Senior Trade Officer Guarantees is responsible for the end-to-end processing of Trade Finance products, specifically Guarantees and Standby Letters of Credit. Key aspects of the role include managing client relationships, prioritizing workload, resolving escalated issues, ensuring compliance with operational risk policies, and contributing to process efficiency improvements. The position also involves coaching junior staff and acting as a subject matter expert.

What We're Looking For

Perform input and release functions for activities related to Standby Letters of Credit and Guarantees.,Prioritize workload and manage volumes effectively.,Manage internal and external client relationships, including direct client interactions.,Proactively manage and resolve escalated items to client satisfaction.,Oversee end-to-end transaction processes for internal and external clients.,Ensure compliance with operational risk policies and procedural guidelines.,Coach and develop junior staff, ensuring high service standards and closing knowledge gaps.,Identify opportunities for streamlining processes to improve efficiency and client experience.,Comply with Anti-Money Laundering guidelines, Trade Restricted Countries, and Risk Approval processes.,Ensure all required training (AML, Code of Conduct, Health and Safety) remains current.

Ideal Candidate

Thorough understanding of ICC product rules (UCP600, ISP98, URDG758, ISBP).,Experience with Trade software, ideally Trade 360 (T360).,Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on client experience.,Ability to navigate and solve complex client issues under tight deadlines.
