Senior Technical Designer in Animation (R27214)

Design and create animation behavior tools, techniques, and philosophies for complex movement systems.,Implement animation state machines, behaviors, and runtime solutions.,Collaborate with Animation, Design, and Programming departments to troubleshoot and resolve in-game animation implementation issues and technical challenges.,Work with animation leadership to maintain animation style and quality standards.,Identify opportunities to improve the animation pipeline/workflow, provide technical animation solutions, and offer training/documentation.

Strong animation sense with a clear understanding of realistic and stylized character motion and modern animation methods.,Expertise in animation pipelines, including Maya, MotionBuilder, and Unreal Engine using Control Rig toolset.,Exceptional problem-solving ability with strong written communication and teamwork skills.,Familiarity with gameplay animation tools and concepts like blend trees and state machines; Unreal Engine Animation Blueprints experience is a plus.,Experience in AAA game development, preferably with a large team and established game engine (internal or commercial); Unreal Engine experience is a plus.,Self-motivated, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently.
