Description

This role at Royal Bank of Canada seeks a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in either Money Movement (Bill Pay, Wires, ACH, Check Deposits) or Credit Card, Mortgage, and CAA spaces. The SME will coordinate projects and development internally and with external vendors, and participate in designing future payment systems. Responsibilities include acting as a Technical Lead, reviewing architecture solutions, and collaborating with developers to deliver business solutions, applying seasoned knowledge to technical design and application development.

What We're Looking For

Must-haves include strong design and architecture acumen, awareness of modern technologies and trends, high analytical and cognitive skills, good interactive skills, a can-do attitude fostering collaboration, and attention to detail. Nice-to-haves include knowledge of Java technology stack and building APIs. Technical knowledge of APIs, Java SpringBoot, Technology Architecture, and experience in cross-payments or Deposits & Credit functions within a banking environment are also required.
