Description

The Senior Supervisor, Distribution at Saputo oversees daily customer deliveries and goods movement, leads distribution team supervisors and coordinators, and ensures adherence to safety and quality standards. This role also involves leading project optimization initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs, and assisting with budget planning, monitoring, and reporting to meet departmental goals. The position focuses on managing performance, fostering relationships with operators, collaborating cross-functionally for distribution optimization, continuous reporting to leadership, promoting best practices, applying distribution technology, and ensuring health and food safety.

What We're Looking For

Manage the performance of Distribution Team direct reports and key stakeholders.,Build and foster positive relationships with Long Haul Operators and Route Distributor Operators (RDO).,Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize distribution for lower costs and better service.,Continuously report to the Departmental Leadership team on business plans, metrics, and budget attainment.,Promote best practice initiatives and projects to optimize the supply chain network, emphasizing efficiency and cost reduction.,Apply working knowledge of distribution-related technology and software.,Ensure Health & Safety and Food Safety are key focuses.,Promote Saputo’s Culture and values.,Available to travel to any of Saputo’s Ontario locations and work all shifts as required.

Ideal Candidate

3–5 years as a Distribution Supervisor in a high-volume, multi-channel setting, ideally within food or packaged goods.,Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a relevant field.,Background in continuous improvement such as Six Sigma (performance metrics are an asset).,Working knowledge pertaining to Transport, Direct Store Delivery, Long Haul Operations, and Route Distributor Owner operations.
