The Senior Specialized Finance Manager at TD Bank provides high-level technical expertise in financial reporting, offering guidance and advisory support. Provide top technical expertise for overall functional area.,Provide guidance and advisory support to others.,Lead or conduct expert analysis/research and reviews to support functional goals/objectives.,Serve as a senior specialist providing advisory support within area of domain expertise to executives and business segment leaders.,Integrate knowledge of the enterprise function's or business segment's overarching strategy in leading program design, policy formulation or operating standards.,Anticipate emerging business trends and regulatory/risk issues to recommend large-scale product, technical, functional or operations improvements.,Advise on execution strategy and lead the development and deployment of functional programs or initiatives.,Solve unique and ambiguous problems with broad impact, overseeing standards, controls, and operating methods.,Engage stakeholders, influence change, and frame information in a broader context.,Provide guidance, make recommendations, and collaborate with business to ensure solutions meet business needs.,Identify and lead problem resolution for project/program complex related issues.,Focus on comprehensive reviews, specialized analysis, audits, and initiatives requiring seasoned specialist knowledge.,Facilitate integration of several key functional areas/business lines in dealing with complex financial management/specialized accounting/taxation/audit/regulatory reporting and operational issues.,Act as the primary interface with Finance partners/leaders and external parties.,Act as key contact and expert for the development, design, and delivery of effective accounting/taxation processes, policies, programs, and advice.,Maintain awareness of changing legal/regulatory requirements and practices.,Engage, manage, and influence internal/external cross-functional partners to develop/deliver integrated solutions.,Accountable for the development and delivery of broad enterprise-wide accounting/taxation policies and initiatives.,Create business cases and innovative recommendations.,Execute on diverse and complex policies and implement/develop activities and tools for businesses.,Support financial strategy and management activities.,Adhere to enterprise frameworks or methodologies.,Ensure programs/policies/practices are well managed, meet business needs, and comply with internal/external requirements.,Exercise discretion in managing correspondence, information, and confidentiality, escalating issues where appropriate.,Ensure business operations comply with applicable internal and external requirements.,Participate in cross-functional/enterprise initiatives as a subject matter expert, identifying risk/providing guidance for complex situations.,Conduct internal and external research projects, supporting development/delivery of presentations/communications.,Conduct meaningful analysis at the functional or enterprise level to draw conclusions and make recommendations.,Monitor service, productivity, and efficiency levels, implementing continuous process/performance improvements.,Lead/facilitate and/or implement actions/remediation plans to address performance/risk/governance issues.,Actively manage relationships within and across various business lines, corporate, and control functions.,Keep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements.,Maintain a culture of risk management and control.,Participate fully as a member of the team, supporting a positive work environment.,Provide thought leadership and/or industry knowledge, participating in knowledge transfer.,Keep current on emerging trends/developments and grow knowledge of the business.,Participate in personal performance management and development activities.,Keep others informed about the status/progress of projects and day-to-day activities.,Contribute to team development through mentorship, knowledge sharing, and leveraging best practices.,Lead, motivate, and develop relationships with internal and external business partners/stakeholders.,Contribute to a fair, positive, and equitable environment that supports a diverse workforce.,Act as a brand ambassador for your business area/function and the bank.

Ideal Candidate

Undergraduate degree and/or 10+ years of relevant experience preferred.,Accounting, financial or relevant professional designation preferred.
