The Senior Specialist, Talent Insights & Reporting will join the Talent Operations, Systems and Insights team, focusing on transforming raw people data into strategic business intelligence. This role involves leading the People & Culture reporting ecosystem, ensuring P&C teams, executive leadership, and strategic partners have access to accurate, high-impact insights for critical decision-making. The specialist will drive adoption of reporting tools, develop the insights roadmap, act as an executive consultant, mentor analysts, and implement efficient reporting solutions.
Spearhead initiatives to increase adoption and utilization of P&C reporting tools and insights, creating learning personas and tailored offerings to upskill P&C staff and transition to data champions.,Support the development of the overall Insights roadmap, prioritizing automation and self-service, and communicate updates regularly to the P&C department.,Act as a consultant to P&C Heads of Region and other business leaders, identifying analytical trends and surfacing them at the executive table.,Implement an intake framework that shifts the team from 'Order Takers' to 'Problem Solvers', guiding data requests to specific business problems or OKRs.,Provide technical guidance to Analysts, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and high-quality system standards.,Review ServiceNow trends to identify common reporting friction points and implement self-service solutions (Dashboards, Discovery Boards).,Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, propose scalable reporting solutions, and ensure reporting offerings meet business needs; expand security roles and build calculated fields as required.,Contribute to the development of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for all new people initiatives to define success measures and metrics.,Bridge the gap between Workday and Looker dashboards in collaboration with Corporate Data and FP&A teams.,Research and assess new reporting tools and AI opportunities for people analytics and reporting development.,Define and monitor Insights best practices, including maintaining functional and requirement documents, and ensure successful delivery of TSI audit requirements related to reporting.,Provide support for integration report change requests or new integration builds, collaborating with the Information Systems (IS) team.,Perform advanced root cause analysis for complex system errors and implement sustainable fixes.
5+ years of hands-on experience specifically within the Workday ecosystem.,Expert-level proficiency in creating complex Calculated Fields, with mastery of Advanced, Matrix, Composite, and nBox reporting.,Proven track record of building and managing high-stakes reports (e.g., Board of Directors decks, Sustainability (ESG) reporting, Annual Reports).,Deep knowledge of configuring custom reports and handling large data sets.,History of identifying system inefficiencies and successfully implementing sustainable fixes based on best practices.,Experience working in agile/pod environments, acting as the 'Product Owner' for People Data.,Experience working within or closely with a People function, demonstrating a deep understanding of HR lifecycles (Recruitment, Turnover, Compensation, and Diversity metrics).,Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; fluency is required for this global position.,Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Statistics, Data Science, or relevant training/experience.,Preferred: Background as an HR Business Analyst or Data Analyst.,Preferred: Experience working with People Analytics tools (Prism, Looker, Tableau, etc.).,Preferred: Workday Pro Certification (Reporting).
