This role is for a Senior Software Engineer acting as an IBM WebSphere Administrator at CGI, focusing on managing, maintaining, and optimizing WebSphere Application Server environments to ensure high availability, performance, and security for enterprise applications. What We're Looking For

Install, configure, and upgrade IBM WebSphere Application Server and related middleware components.,Monitor system performance, identify issues, and apply patches or fixes for stability.,Deploy and manage enterprise applications across WebSphere environments.,Implement and maintain security policies, including SSL certificates, authentication, and firewall configurations.,Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to support application integration and resolve middleware-related issues.,Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and optimization of WebSphere servers.,Maintain technical documentation including system configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.,Provide production support, participate in on-call rotations, and ensure disaster recovery readiness.

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.,3–8 years of experience in WebSphere Application Server administration or middleware support.,Relevant IBM WebSphere or Middleware certifications are a plus.
