Senior Software Engineer, Developer Relations - Easy Anti-Cheat (R26414)

Description

This role involves serving as a key technical liaison between internal engineering teams and external partners, supporting them in integrating, debugging, and optimizing Epic Online Services (EOS) Anti-Cheat. The engineer will be responsible for in-depth technical troubleshooting, analyzing crash dumps, debugging C/C++ code, providing solutions and insights, guiding design decisions for Anti-Cheat, and contributing to technical documentation. The position requires proactive problem-solving, strong communication, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

What We're Looking For

In this role, you will:

- Troubleshoot complex integration and operational issues with Anti-Cheat, including analyzing crash dumps, logs, and call stacks.

- Collaborate with external game developers and internal teams to resolve technical issues.

- Debug and reproduce customer issues, documenting and communicating findings.

- Represent Epic Games through support channels, trade shows (e.g., UEFest), and customer visits.

- Develop and maintain clear technical documentation, tutorials, and guides.

- Advocate for partners' successful integration and use of Anti-Cheat, influencing product improvements.

- Research and identify opportunities to enhance Anti-Cheat technologies and developer experience.

Ideal Candidate

Applicants should have prior experience with SDK/API integration and a strong understanding of software engineering principles, including legacy support. A deep understanding of online multiplayer video game architectures and associated security concerns is also required.
