Description
This role is for a Senior Software Engineer (Rails/Ruby) at Dr. Bill, an RBCx Ventures company focused on simplifying medical billing for doctors. The individual will contribute to the product roadmap, influence solutions, lead software development, and mentor less experienced engineers. The position offers a startup environment with the benefits of a large company.
What We're Looking For
Write high-quality, well-tested code while understanding business needs.,Maintain high-quality software and ensure production reliability.,Contribute suggestions and new ideas to improve the platform.,Design, code, unit test, and integrate new features and functionality.,Participate in code reviews, architectural planning, and delivery meetings.,Update progress daily through tracking tools (Jira) or Kanban board.
Ideal Candidate
Post-secondary degree or diploma in computer engineering or equivalent training/experience (Nice-to-Have).,Experience with compliance standards, e.g., ISO 27001 or SOC 2 (Nice-to-Have).
