Senior Relationship Manager

The Senior Relationship Manager will serve the community commercial banking business, customizing and providing a broad range of products and services to meet the financial needs of TD's customers. This role focuses on acquiring, developing, and managing commercial banking relationships, growing the portfolio by offering financial solutions, and developing new business from both existing and new clients. The manager acts as a trusted advisor, structuring practical and competitive solutions that address customers' financing, cash management, and overall business needs.

Acquire, develop, and manage commercial banking relationships.,Provide customized solutions across different commercial segments.,Grow the portfolio by providing financial solutions and developing new business.,Act as a trusted advisor, structuring and packaging solutions for clients.,Responsible for achieving growth goals (loans, deposits, fees).,Conduct sales calls, gather financial information, and coordinate financial analyses for credit decisions.,Contribute to the loan decision process and negotiate terms.,Lead relationship management for an assigned portfolio/segment/geography.,Deliver exceptional customer service.,Utilize sales platforms to understand customer/target needs, industries, and markets.,Actively generate referrals to all business partners within the bank.,Develop clear retention plans for assigned portfolio deposits and loans.,Maintain and enhance expert knowledge of the market, customers, and broader economic factors.,Identify and respond to changes in the business environment.,Develop community relationships and participate in networking events.,Develop and implement sales strategies to attract, acquire, and retain customers.,Assess credit requests and make appropriate recommendations for structuring credit deals.,Contribute to high-quality risk assessment and credit presentations.,Support timely and accurate completion of business processes and procedures.,Identify and manage risks, escalating high-risk transactions when necessary.,Ensure accuracy and compliance of all documentation.,Participate in process improvement opportunities.,Manage relationships across various business lines and control functions.,Keep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and regulatory requirements.,Maintain a culture of risk management and control.,Participate fully as a team member, fostering a positive work environment.,Provide thought leadership and participate in knowledge transfer.,Contribute to team development through mentorship.,Lead, motivate, and develop relationships with internal and external partners.,Contribute to a fair, positive, and equitable environment.

Ideal Candidate

Undergraduate degree,10+ years relevant experience,In-depth understanding of commercial industry, business development techniques and credit decisions,Proven business development track record, with proven ability to conceptualize and implement effective new business strategies,Extensive network of outside referral sources for new business,Excellent credit and financial analysis skills,Effective negotiation skills
