Description

This role is for a highly motivated Senior QE Analyst within the Core and Realtime Payments QE team at Royal Bank of Canada. The analyst will be responsible for all testing aspects, focusing on increasing test coverage and accelerating delivery through test automation and AI adoption. Key duties include identifying testing requirements, defining timelines, planning and executing QE activities, and managing defects. The position requires both hands-on technical skills and leadership experience to resolve issues for both onshore and offshore teams, ensuring timely task delivery.

What We're Looking For

Create test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on complex requirement documents and business User Stories.,Drive automation testing initiatives, develop and maintain automated test suites under the direction of overall QE vision and strategy.,Adopt AI–driven testing solutions to enhance test automation framework, test coverage, accelerate & optimize the test case & test automation scripts creation.,Execute test cases (manual/automated), document test results and raise defects.,Perform different levels of testing based on business requirements – Functional, Regression, Integration and E2E Testing.,Work with JIRA, Confluence, qTest for test case management, defect management, test reporting and other functions.,Partnering with the Performance Engineering team to plan & execute performance test cycles on assigned applications/projects.,Closely work with Application Development team as one unified team to integrate quality engineering mindset/concepts within the DevOps framework/pipeline.,Effectively collaborate with project team members (PM/Scrum Masters, Dev and Business Analysts), stakeholders and business partners.,Participate in agile ceremonies like, Sprint planning, grooming sessions, stand-up meetings, demo sessions, and retrospective meetings.,Continually enhance your own skills and build knowledge in all aspects of the organization, the business and Payment systems.
