Senior Project Manager/ Scrum Master

Description

The Senior Project Manager/Scrum Master, WII Business Technology, reports to the Custody Domain Program Director. This role is responsible for initiating, planning, and executing waterfall/agile projects, including managing vendor deliverables, integration, data, and reporting. The individual will build and maintain strong relationships with IT, vendor, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. The position requires strong project management and Scrum Master expertise, excellent written and verbal communication, a strong work ethic, and the ability to multitask, solve problems, and adapt to changing priorities while taking accountability for results.

What We're Looking For

Manage programs, sometimes with multiple workstreams, potentially overseen by other PMs/Scrum Masters.,Apply seasoned knowledge, skills, and practices to various assignments.,Serve as a liaison and build bridges among project team members, including vendors.,Collaborate with internal and external partners (e.g., Vendors, RBC IT teams, Product).,Develop and manage detailed schedules, identify early warning indicators, and provide direction for early resolution of risks and issues, with a clear escalation path.,Develop PARs and oversee financials and staffing levels to meet project delivery requirements, complete risk assessments, and track value for decision-making.,Build and present for Senior Director & VP level presentations and project communications.,Initiate process improvements and promote agile enablement within the team.

Ideal Candidate

Undergraduate degree with CSM, PMP, or equivalent certification.,Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint.,Strong understanding of change and risk management, and SDLC.,Advanced knowledge of Agile Project Management workflows, including sprint backlogs, milestones, release burndowns, and work-back schedules.,A proactive, 'can-do' attitude with a sense of urgency and flexibility.,Experience in a matrix environment, preferably within a financial institution (Nice-to-have).
