Senior Project Manager / Scrum Master - GFT

This opportunity within Global Functions Technology (GFT), a part of RBC's Technology and Operations division, focuses on delivering high-performing applications and innovative IT solutions. The Audit IT team aims to redefine Internal Audit through technology. The role involves strategically planning and managing successful implementations for audit initiatives, ensuring objectives are met on time and within budget through coordination, development, leadership, and communication.

What We're Looking For

Provide delivery leadership for medium to large projects/initiatives.,Facilitate Agile initiatives from initiation through release, ensuring alignment with RBC Agile/Scrum practices.,Accountable for achieving release objectives and meeting stakeholder needs alongside the scrum team.,Track and manage risks and financials for the team.,Facilitate discussion for collective decision-making, goal setting, and conflict resolution.,Remove impediments to delivery success, manage external dependencies, and escalate issues when necessary.,Create and maintain appropriate vehicles for open communication within the scrum team.,Manage team performance to promote joint accountability and solve productivity issues.,Engage in business analysis, user experience, and technical conversations across platforms.,Navigate and identify shared IT services required by the team.

Ideal Candidate

Experience with agile practices including Scrum/Kanban, Agile ceremonies (standups, backlog refinement, team demos).,Experience working with vendors using various models (staff augmentation, fixed price contracts).,Clear understanding of the various activities within a delivery project.,Experience scheduling activities across all delivery teams to deliver a common capability.,Knowledge of Scaled Agile practices (Nice-to-have).,Knowledge of collaboration tools – JIRA and Confluence (Nice-to-have).,Experience with Planview and/or RBC MIS (Management Information System) (Nice-to-have).,Basic financial experience (Nice-to-have).
